Letter from the President

The Mid-Lakewood Civic Association (MLCA) has an exciting lineup of events planned for 2025! Our goal is to foster a sense of community and engagement among our neighbors.

The year kicks off with a Board & Members Meeting on April 24th, open to all residents. This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors, hear about upcoming events and projects, and share your ideas for the community. Come learn about the MLCA Civic Committee and get the latest Lakewood news.

Summertime fun starts with our annual Garage Sale, June 6-8th, where residents can declutter and find hidden treasures. On June 28th, "Coffee with a Cop" provides a casual setting for residents to connect with local law enforcement and discuss community safety. Don't miss our Food Truck Nights at Meadowlark Park - grab a bite and chat with neighbors! The Annual Picnic on August 24th promises food, music, and fun for all.

In the fall, we will hold our Annual Meeting on October 2nd, where we will discuss the year's accomplishments, plan for the future, and host a forum of candidates running for local offices in the election. The Sunday after Thanksgiving we will gather for our annual Tree Lighting ceremony, a beloved tradition that marks the start of the holiday season.

Your financial support is essential in making these events possible. Please send in your dues to help us continue to build a strong and vibrant community.

Here’s to a great 2025!
